Sewing/Quilting Circle & Mini Mission Project Sewing Circle

September 26 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every month that begins at 9:30 am on day Fourth of the month, repeating indefinitely

These are two United Methodist Women circles that meet once a month on the 4th Thursday from 9:30-noon in Room 11-12.  Both circles are led by Louise nelson and Lorraine Magee; childcare is available upon request.

The Sewing/Quilting Circle makes quilts that are taken on church mission trips and given to people who have been affected by natural disasters and tragedies.  Basic sewing knowledge is helpful.  Feel free to bring your sewing machine and quilting notions.  Fabric is available to make the quilts.

The Mini Mission Project Sewing Circle works on projects to benefit women and children around the world.  Current projects include makings school bags, pillowcase dresses, and reusable feminine hygiene products.  Sewing is not a requirement to join and help in this group.
