Donate Your Old Cell Phone to Help Address Domestic Violence

The National Coalition against Domestic Violence addresses the needs of a very challenging problem in our society through policy advocacy, victim programs and prevention education.

Donated cell phones are selectively repurposed for victim use, refurbished/resold or recycled.  Revenue from these donated cell phones is used to help fund the organization’s mission.

Simply leave your old phone, accessories and charger, if you have one, in our collection box.  There is no need to clean information from the phone, unless you just want to.  The certified recycler will replace all software and clear the memory, if it is refurbished.  If recycled, the phone is properly destroyed.

My name is Karen and I work at Las Positas College/ LPC. I am one of two advisors for the “College Student Resources Club” here at LPC. The students would love to invite someone from your church to speak during one of our club meetings this Fall 2015 semester, which ends 12/18/2015. I would like to invite you to attend during the month of October or November. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. As a side note, I want to thank your church community for supporting the homeless. I was once homeless with my 10 year old daughter while living in my car, so I have first hand experience with some of the challenges of being homeless.
