Asbury United Methodist Church, which is located in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area, in Livermore, has a large campus to host your event (non-profit or personal events only – no for-profit or business meetings).
The entire campus is fully accessible to those in wheelchairs and handicapped parking is available adjacent to the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall.
There is free campus-wide WiFi available (it requires a password).
The Sanctuary is a beautiful building with the capacity to seat approximately 300 people. It has a “crying room” with full audio available. There is a full sound system, large flat-panel monitors in the front, and includes a hearing assistance loop. The beautiful 1500 pipe organ and large hanging cross highlight the front of the sanctuary. The décor is neutral and inviting, and large sliding glass doors and skylights allow natural light to cover the large space.
Fellowship Hall and Kitchen
The new 6000 square foot Fellowship Hall was built in 2011 and has the ability to host a sit-down dinner for approximately 200 people. There is a sound system available for music or people needing a microphone. A large wall of floor to ceiling windows allow the feeling of being connected to the outside and can be opened up to have direct access to the courtyard.
The kitchen is a modern commercial space with stainless steel sinks and work surfaces. There are convection ovens, a gas range, dishwasher and sanitizer, and an ice machine.
Chapel and Fireside Room
The Chapel is a cozy space that is perfect for smaller events of up to 100 guests. A set of sliding glass doors looks out onto our Memorial Garden. The décor is neutral with a bit of an old-fashioned and warm feel.
The Fireside Room is connected to the Chapel with wooden accordion doors separating the two spaces. As the name suggests, there is a beautiful fireplace with comfortable love seats and chairs surrounding it, giving the room the comfort of your own living room. The Fireside Room is an inviting space that can easily accommodate 15 – 20 people.
There are also classrooms and meeting rooms available.
