Haiti Program Going Strong

We continue to support our sponsored schools with meals, clean water, solar power systems, computers and facility development.  We also have over 50 clean water systems installed in the communities surrounding our schools.

We are now focused on starting the transition from US based financial support to Haiti-based income to continue the work there.  The cornerstone of this effort is a locally owned bakery.  Using solar ovens like shown in this photo, the bakery would sell products retail and wholesale with the proceeds to fund the program operations.

In addition, it will provide the bread needed for our school lunches.  Lastly, it will provide more local employment.  Construction and opening will be in 2019.
