Do you feel called to go deeper in faith? One way to do that is to lead a small group, there is no experience necessary, you don’t have to be a biblical scholar or a methodist history buff. All you need is an openness to explore conversations with a group and a willingness to try something new. Most small groups use curriculum from books to DVDs, many of which come with questions to guide discussion. Small groups are truly a transformative way where folks grow closer to God and to one another. There is no set time commitment to being in a small group or a small group leader, some continue on for a few months, others for years depending on the wishes of the leader and the group. If you are interested in exploring small group leadership, come to a training Saturday October 10 from 9am-3pm in the Chapel, lunch will be provided! The training is not a commitment to lead a small group. Current small group leaders are invited to join us at the training.
