Tri-Valley Rally Against Asian Violence

During the season of Lent, we have focused in on the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew 5-7. In these passages Jesus calls us to step forward in many ways to watch over and serve our neighbors in love as we continue those practices that help us create a solid connection with God. This includes working on taking the log of racism out of our eyes, our community’s eyes, and our nation’s eyes. Toward that end, we have been invited to participate in the Tri-Valley rallies against Asian violence. The one in Livermore will be held Sunday, March 28, from 1-1:30 in Stockman’s Park (the new park off Veterans way).
We invite you to join us in this witness. We encourage you to double mask or wear KN95 masks and to physically distance. If you need a mask you can get one from the church, or Pastors Kathy, Heather and Chelsea will be at the rally and will have some extras.  We will have signs to share with you when you get to the rally.
As we are still in the pandemic, if you are not comfortable coming out we encourage you not to and we ask that you hold the rally in prayer.
