Thank You, Asbury!

In the past few months, Asbury received several thank you notes.

Habitat for Humanity thanked us for being a faith partner. We joined with 17 other local churches and raised $50,000, which was matched by an anonymous donor. We joined with other faith communities and gave over 1000 hours at home renovations on Andrews Street and Ruth Way.

United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) thanks us for our financial support which goes to programs to fight hunger and poverty, assist the displaced, and respond to disasters.
Roger Everett gave in another way. He joined UMCOR efforts in the Yukon, working for two weeks in Alaska.

And here’s a shout out to the Asbury team that continues to donate countless work hours to renovate the Tri Valley Haven Thrift Store,116 N. L St. Stop by and ooh and ahh at all the renovations, as well as the great deals. Contact Steve Elliott if you’d like to help out during the week: [email protected]

Thanks, Asbury, for all the ways you serve others with love!
