Sundays

Meditation Circle

A short devotional is read, we meditate for 20 to 25 minutes, and end time together with an optional fellowship time.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers are the Christian caregivers who are there for you when life-changing situations occur. In times of grief, loss, pain, or transition, Stephen Ministers are here to walk alongside you, listen and pray while keeping all information confidential.

This group discuss the assigned reading in the latest book.  The group tends to like accessible texts; some of the books include “The Jesuit Guide to (Almost) Everything”, “Holy Envy”, “A Year of Biblical Womanhood”, “Making Sense of the Bible”, and “Gifts of Imperfection.”

Anti-Racism Ministry

The primary purpose of this multigenerational group is to educate ourselves (through books, articles, blogs, movies, TV, etc.) to become antiracists. Then we actively work to recognize, resist, and where possible, dismantle racism wherever it occurs.

Spiritual Growth Group

The Souped-Up Spiritual Growth Group include a simple soup-and-salad supper, book discussion, and soul sharing. Sign-ups are for a book at a time.

Grief Support Group

Sometimes it's hard to put our grief into words. Join a support group and you might hear someone else speak how you've bee feeling! Grief Support Groups are open to the public and all are welcome.

Men's Small Group

The topic varies each week and there is often an overarching theme. Newcomers are always welcome. There is no homework. 

Women of the Spirit

This group reads a variety of books which can broken into small chunks and discussed each week.  Usually the books have a spiritual theme and are written by well-known writers.

Heritage Estates Chimes

The Heritage Chimers is an ensemble of 13 residents at Heritage Estates who rehearse weekly on three octaves of hand chimes. Our music ministry promotes social interaction, lots of fun, teamwork, and challenging brain stimulation

Young Adult Bible Study

Heritage Estates Chorus

This musical group is made up of Heritage Estates residents and sings popular songs primarily from the 1940s and 1950s.  There are no auditions and no fees.  It is directed by Jean Braun, with Mary Burnham accompanying on piano and Evelynne Schwartz as host and song leader.
