Christmas Eve Services

Asbury UMC Christmas Eve Services

The community and church family is invited to Asbury’s very special Christmas Eve Services:

4:30 p.m.: A shorter Family Candlelight service featuring an interactive telling of the Christmas story in which children and adults can have a part (no rehearsal required), the singing of some favorite carols, and special music by our children’s an youth chorus. We will conclude with the lighting of individual candles.

7:00 p.m.: Traditional candlelight service featuring the reading of Christmas scripture, musical ensembles, singing of favorite Christmas carols and “When a Baby is Born” montage. We will conclude with the lighting of individual candles. Children are welcome in the service and we also provide child care in the nursery.

11:00 p.m.: Traditional Candlelight service featuring the reading of Christmas scripture, musical ensembles, singing of favorite Christmas carols, “When a Baby is Born” montage and communion. Children are welcome in the service. We will conclude with the lighting of individual candles.
